I have supervised 43 master thesis students, 42 of whom successfully finished their thesis and graduated.
I taught this elementary corporate finance course in the Maastricht University Problem-Based Learning (PBL) format. PBL is an innovative and highly interactive teaching format in which small groups of students prepare and present the course material, and teachers supervise the discussion and ensure the right topics and content are discussed. In this setting, I taught three groups of 20 students twice a week for eight weeks.
I taught this advanced fixed-income course in the Maastricht University Problem-Based Learning (PBL) format. This course discussed, among others, Strips, Collateralized Debt Obligations, Mortgage Backed Securities, Covered bonds, Credit Ratings, Inflation Protected Bonds, Term Structures, Callable Bonds, Trenching, Seniority, and Credit Default Swaps. Further, it covered weekly Harvard cases with the associated assignments.
I taught this advanced portfolio management course in the Maastricht University Problem-Based Learning (PBL) format. This course was primarily focused on the characteristics and operations of multiple types of pension funds, their assets allocation and portfolio maximization, and sustainable investing.
I taught this intermediate finance course in the Maastricht University Problem-Based Learning (PBL) format. The first half of this course (which I thought) was focused on providing proof of elementary principles in finance, such as the efficient frontier and the CAPM model.
I taught this course introduced applied sciences students to reading and analyzing academic articles in preparation for their Master's programs. It was taught in the Maastricht University Problem-Based Learning (PBL) format
